Eco Boutique Aside from the obvious, no-brainer eco-practices we use such as swapping out all of our incandescent light bulbs with CFLs, buying in bulk to reduce packaging, reducing water usage and recycling, we are constantly looking for new ways to lessen our footprint, to reduce our impact on the environment and to do our part to help save and protect our planet, Mother Earth. As such, our tissue paper and gift boxes are made from 100% recycled material and our business cards are printed on 100% post-consumer waste card stock. We also make every attempt to reuse boxes and packaging material when available. A little step goes a long way...and every little bit helps. It’s never too late to make a difference!
We are also a proud member of an online community called “Freecycle”. Their mission is simple: to keep perfectly good, reusable items out of our landfills. All items are offered up FREE of charge to a new loving home. Just think of the impact you could have if you utilized this free community service! So, let’s all do our part and pass it on, not throw it away. The next time you decide to get rid of something, remember: just because you have no use for it anymore doesn’t mean that someone else can’t use it. After all, as the old adage states: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure!”
